Design in the 'hood - more color inspiration

San Francisco is known for so much, and not the least of our city gems, is our collective creative community.  And one star in our galaxy is the incredible interior designer, Mr. Grant Gibson.  One new accolade Mr. Gibson can boast about is his inclusion in Elle Decor's list of up and coming interior designers.  It seems Mr. Gibson made it to Elle's radar through his clever and entirely self written blog, which you can read here.   I am, of course, living in the hope that this Pearl Painting blog will lead to the same kind of charmed serendipity.  I think Google need to make us their "in-house paint contractors".   Feel free to call me boys, I'll make time for you...


Back to local events, and to make me positively wet my pants,  the Junior League of San Francisco is partnering with Elle Decor this November to create their first showhouse in San Francisco (in the St. Francis neighborhood).  So on Nov 6th, I will expect to see my SF neighbors lining up for inspiration from some of our own hometown talents.  I know I will be there.  While I think I am pretty damn good at choosing paint color and compliment accent colors, I am definitely excited to see what interior design professionals serve up!
