Paint with a social conscious

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  It's hard to miss,  since pink ribbons are everywhere and that is good and bad.  It's bad that this disease still needs funding for a cure,  and it's good because you can easily view companies that give back to communities with donations to fund for a cure.

So I need to recognize, what I consider to be a little gem of a company:   The Little Green Paint and Paper Company, who have pledged to make a donation to support Breast Cancer charities for every gallon of their paint sold in the month of October.  Their cans will have the pink ribbon logo on it so the choice is easy to make.  Unfortunately, the company is UK based, but you can absolutely order via the Internet.  And since the blog world is indeed world wide,  I know we have UK viewers of this blog.  October is the perfect time to spruce up your living areas,  even if Pearl Painting cannot be the local team you use to help you make the change.   Being based in San Francisco, we can't manage that commute...but we can all help eradicate Breast Cancer.    It's a win-win.

Click on this link and let your money work twice, not only to help you change your home or business environment but also to help fund charities supporting Breast Cancer research.   The sad fact is, if you are over the age of 20, you probably know someone -male or female - who has this terrible disease.  Fingers crossed it isn't you.

It's good to have a social conscious, and it's for your Karma.  And you and I both know, if you read this blog with any kind of regularity, then  you know your Karma needs some serious lovin'.
