I know - radical eh? Seriously, when you are putting so much effort and attention into your room, your color scheme, why just slap ho-hum white up there? I am not suggesting the Sistine Chapel in your dining room, but a contrasting color can create a depth that was missing previously. Even a scene or a painted effect can change the feel of a room using a "Trompe L'Oeil" technique ("fool the eye").
